Butt….Butt….Butt….I like Deadlifts

This is a very interesting article about glute specific strength and how squats, deadlifts, and lunges have lower glute activation than the exercises presented here. Despite this finding, I certainly wouldn’t advise tossing out the squats, deadlifts and lunges as they are still whole body, real world specific, growth hormone raising cornerstones of an effective strength training program. I do recommend adding some of these glute specific exercises to your workout for improving one of your body’s greatest ASSets.
